Your Help is Needed
to Clean Up Storm Damage
An extended cleanup will take place this Saturday morning starting at 7:00am. (Starting early to beat the heat)
A lot of work was done last Saturday. Many thanks to Ruben Moreno who showed up with his professional tree trimming equipment. Even though the professional equipment made quick work disposing the limbs, it was still strenuous work hauling the limbs to the chipper
Please make time to come this Saturday morning, to help rake, and gather the remaining brush to dispose of in the dumpster, even if you can only help for one hour. With many hands this work should go quickly.
Our next weekends to serve are July 13&14 and July 20-21. If you are available to help, please contact Maxine Chippeaux at 943-1444 or 650-3368
Thanks for all the donations and help to make our 4th church/garage sale a success! The total sales were $6100. The items left over went to DAV, Birth line, Medical Loan Closet, Habitat for Humanity and some are even being sent to the Philippines.
P.S. To my early Thursday morning crew—my sister Jan from Detroit said everyone was so nice and worked together so well!
Pick me up Lord, and hold me in Your loving arms.
Protect me from the pressures of the day, and remove the heaviness from my heart.Inspire me with the knowledge that You and I together can handle anything.
Coffee, Doughnuts, Fellowship, Fun and Great Conversation made the perfect morning for our Chatty Catholics who meet once a month at the rectory.
